Why The Amazon Is Valuable
- We came across a information center and found out some cool things on why the amazon is valuable to us: The Amazon is one of the most important ecosystems. it cools the whole planet by 1-2 degrees Celsius. Its helps control rainfall and humidity in certain parts of the world. it absorbs over 300 million tons of carbon dioxide a year. There are medicines found from plants in the Amazon and if the amazon gets destroyed then we could destroy and never see any possible cures.
Do you think the amazon is as valuable as it is put out to be?
~HOW HUMANS IMPACT THE AMAZON ~
we saw today that the human impact is very big in alot of rainforests around the world. The amount of plants and animals homes that get cut down everyday is the the size of 60 football fields. Some problems we found were:
- Logging
- Gold Mining
- Rubbish
- Bauxite Mining
--- This is a picture of one part of the Amazon rainforest destroyed that we found just now
should we stop destroying the Amazon??
